Dun Laoghaire Town: This website provides a variety of information from the historical background of Dun Laoghaire to the latest events taking place (possible trip). The website is perfect for planning activities for the children as everything is in the one place. https://www.dunlaoghairetown.ie/

Dlharbour: A website which provides information regarding the harbour/events. Great if looking into occupations within the town. This website also provides a historical background of the harbour and projects that will be taking place. http://dlharbour.ie/

Dun Laoghaire Historical: This website contains old photographs/sketches of the Dun Laoghaire area along with information regarding the development of Dun Laoghaire today and social aspects of the town. http://www.dunlaoghairehistorical.com/

National Maritime Museum: This website would be useful during the preparation stage as you could book a school trip. This museum features artefacts and guided tour concerning marine work in Dun Laoghaire featuring information from both the past and present. https://www.mariner.ie/

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council: Provides information on services, action plans and future developments available/happening within the local area. (They also offer tours of their headquarters). The children could possibly prepare questions to ask whilst on the tour. This website is also great for updates/information regarding biodiversity. Interview: Great opportunity for parental involvement. Invite a relative from Dun Laoghaire to share their experiences growing up. OR/AND invite my gran in to share her experiences. The children could compare and contrast both experiences. Was there any similarities? What was different?

Dun Laoghaire Through The Years: A Facebook page in which past/current residents of Dun Laoghaire share their memories / information on current events happening within the town. Geohive: Great resource for looking/analysing maps. This resource is also great for locating information such as the population density of your chosen area, schooling and reviewing censuses. Dublin Bay Biosphere: This website is a good resource to have as there features local events/tours you can organise to explore the biodiversity within the area. https://www.dublinbaybiosphere.ie/events/
