My official 'bio'

Lisa Donaldson is the Academic Programme Manager at ICGP having recently joined from Dublin City University (DCU). She is currently focused on leading the blended learning and eportfolio initiatives to best support the trainee learning experience.

Lisa’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Business & IT, post graduate qualifications in Teaching & Learning, and an M.Sc. in Applied Elearning. She was DCU's first Advance HE Senior Fellow in 2020, winner of the teaching support category of the DCU President's Award for Excellence in Teaching 2022, and Learning Technologist of the Year (Association of Learning Technology), 2018.

Lisa was delighted to collect the Learning Technology Team of the Year 2018 award from the Association of Learning Technology, on behalf of the DCU eportfolio team. The eportfolio project was also shortlisted in the Education Awards 2019 for Best Use of Educational Technology/ICT Initiative of the year. In addition, Lisa founded the Eportfolio Ireland community of practice in 2017 to assist DCU faculty and faculty in other Irish institutions to adopt eportfolios and share practice.

Having become DCU's first Advance HE Senior Fellow in 2020, Lisa also is the champion of Advance HE Fellowship across DCU and has designed and leads a supported journey to Fellowship which launched in 2021. Previously, Lisa has worked on a cross institutional project with Dublin City University , the RCSI and University of Malawi developing a blended learning Masters in Community Systems Health Research delivered to students in Malawi and has led the What Works and Why project at DCU.

Lisa has previously taught Technology Enhanced Learning and Information Systems at the National College of Ireland(NCI), Griffith College and IBAT College. Lisa’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Business & IT , post graduate qualifications in Teaching & Learning and an M.Sc. in Applied Elearning. She was recognised as a Senior Fellow in the Higher Education Academy in 2020.

Additionally, she has been certified as a Google Certified Educator Level 1, a Book Creator Certified Author, and Microsoft Office Expert, as well as holding a Diploma in Website Development.
